MD RAFIQUL ISLAM

Founder and chairman

Mohammad Rafiqul Islam is a well-established businessman and Partner of SR Group, as well as the founder and chairman of the SRA Institute of Science and Technology. Under his strong leadership and strategic guidance, this institution has emerged as a shining example in the field of technical education. His contribution to the advancement of education is undeniable, and he tirelessly works toward the betterment of students. He remains consistently dedicated to the welfare of students and committed to their success. His humane qualities and leadership inspire respect and admiration from all.

MD RASHIDUL ISLAM

Founder and Executive director

Mohammad Rashidul Islam is a renowned social worker and accomplished businessman, serving as a partner of SR Group and a well-established figure in Dinajpur with over 45 years of business experience. He is also the founder and executive director of the SRA Institute of Science and Technology. With his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment, the institution has established itself as a beacon of excellence in technical education. His impactful role in fostering student growth is truly noteworthy, driven by his philanthropic spirit, which inspired him to establish the institute. He consistently devotes himself to ensuring their achievements. His compassionate nature and outstanding leadership qualities make him a figure of deep respect and esteem among all.

LATE MD AKRAM ALI MIAH

Founder and Executive director

Engineer Mohammad Akram Ali Mia was a distinguished engineer and educator, serving as the founder, executive director, and principal of the SRA Institute of Science and Technology. Under his leadership, the institution’s educational and research efforts progressed with meticulous planning. His contribution to the development of students was undeniable, as he consistently inspired and motivated them throughout his life. All his life, he was dedicated to education, firmly believing in compassionate work toward his students, and he also held the conviction that polytechnic studies are the only way to drive change in the country. His perseverance and commitment have served, and will continue to serve, as a source of inspiration for students. We express our deep respect and gratitude for him. Sadly, he has passed away.

MOSTAHID ASIF

Principal, Director of accounts and it

Mostahid Asif began his career at the SRA Institute of Science and Technology as Director of Accounts and IT, where he transformed the institute into a fully automated and the most technologically advanced institution in Dinajpur District. He later served as Vice Principal before taking charge as Principal following the untimely demise of our beloved Managing Director, Engineer Akram Ali Miah. A graduate in Business Administration and Psychology from SUNY Buffalo, USA, he is also the Managing Director of MRA Group, a construction firm and software company developing high-tech, purpose-driven, problem-solving software. His expertise has significantly contributed to SRAIST’s technological advancement. With his passion and leadership, he continues to elevate the institute as a leading polytechnic in Dinajpur through modern teaching methods, an online academic system, and student-friendly initiatives.
